dr. MELOSHINI NAICKER

Melosh completed her Bachelor's Degree in Oral Health at the University of Durban Westville, South Africa in 1991. After graduating, Melosh spent a short time in general private practice and was offered a position at the School of Dentistry, UDW where she lectured for 16 years. Her qualifications thereafter include a postgraduate Diploma in Oral Hygiene (1997) and a Marketing Diploma(2002). Melosh was elected the President of the SA Oral Hygiene Association from 1995 – 1997 also served on the Health Professions Council of SA.
Melosh immigrated to Australia in March 2007. She has been working in periodontics with Dr Adam Rosenberg since 2008. Melosh also demonstrates and lectures to Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy students at University of Melbourne Dental School. Her interests are non-surgical periodontal surgery including perioscopy and supportive periodontal maintenance for implant supported prosthesis. Melosh graduated with her Masters of Public Health Degree from the University of Queensland in 2012. She completed her PhD at the University of Melbourne in June 2020. The title of her research was “To evaluate the effectiveness of using an endoscope with scaling and root planing as compared to scaling and root planing only using clinical, microbiological and radiographic parameters” which was published in the Journal of Periodontology (May 2021). Melosh’s interests are cooking and travel.
KATRINA TRAN CURIE
DENTAL HYGIENIST DIP. OH MELB
Katrina graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2003 as a dental hygienist, with a Diploma in Oral Health.
Soon after graduating she began working in Periodontics with Dr Rosenberg and Associates. In 2010, Katrina stopped working to pursue a family and then returned to work for Dr Rosenberg in 2012. Katrina’s interests are non-surgical periodontal therapy including the use of the Perioscope.
Katrina enjoys cooking and art and crafts.
Katrina is fluent in Vietnamese.
Solette louw
Solette completed her Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 1995 at Stellembosch university, Tygerberg Dental Faculty with high distinction. She received the award for outstanding achievement by Oral B Laboratories - SouthAfrica and outstanding achievement by The Dental Warehouse and award for excellence in Clinical Radiology by Miller's Dental Supplies.
Solette has over 20 years experience, 16 years of which were spent working in South Africa, England, Ireland and New Zealand. During this time she completed her certificate in the administering of Local anaesthesia. She also attended several workshops with Prime Practice focusing on team building and communication.
In her spare time she enjoys staying fit, spending time with her two children, her cats and making creative cakes.
Czarlene Villanueva
BOH (Usyd)
Czarlene completed her studies at the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Oral Health and began working with Dr Rosenberg in 2021.
She has a keen interest in all aspects of periodontics with a particular focus on supportive periodontal therapy and oral care promotion.
Czarlene strives to create a comfortable environment for each patient where she believes that communication is key. She is happy to answer all your questions!
In her spare time, she enjoys pilates, travel and spending quality time with family and friends.
Laura Richmond
BOH(Hyg/Therapy) CSU
Laura completed a Bachelor of Oral Health (Hygiene and Therapy) at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga, in 2015. Prior to joining our Wodonga hygiene team, she practiced as an Oral Health Therapist in private general dentistry for 7 years in Brisbane and Albury-Wodonga. Having a particular interest in periodontal diseases and preventive care, Laura joined the Perio Centre to focus her practice in advanced periodontal care.
Laura is passionate about providing high quality, thorough dental care in the regional community and endeavors to engage every patient in their own care through knowledge, understanding, and skills to better manage their oral health.
Outside of the Perio Centre, Laura enjoys time with her family on their farm, and is an avid beekeeper and bread baker.
Emma Edwards
BOH(Hyg/Therapy) CSU
Emma completed a Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy and Hygiene at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga.
Prior to her studies as an Oral Health Therapist, Emma worked at the Perio Centre as a Dental Nurse, learning from Dr Adam Rosenberg and associates which inspired further studies.
Emma also works in private practice and has a strong interest in periodontal disease, prevention, and oral care promotion.
Emma enjoys the simple things in life: Family, friends, fitness, and coffee!
